Is it a little sad that I've figured out my Halloween costume half a year ahead of time? Maybe not. Usually I do it, uh, the night before so surely this is an improvement? I was reading both Young Justice and The Dark Knight Returns today (kiiiiiind of on a DC kick here ) and I have this really cute red dress and so I was like, dude, obviously I need to be girl!Robin for Halloween this year (last year I was Neil Gaiman's Death. Are we seeing a trend here?). Except I still need a yellow belt. And I'm going to have to make myself a cape and a domino mask, which will be an adventure since the sewing machine and I don't always get on. And I also need to acquire green tights. (I have tights with stripes and tights with sparkles and even a pair with Boticelli paintings on them but no plain green? Clearly my fashion priorities are misplaced.) But still, it will be an awesome costume, and an homage to Stephanie Brown and Carrie Kelly, who kick ass.
